Celestron Granite 10X50 binoculars As a retired NASA photographer I have used different binoculars for years. Recently my Celestron 7X56 binoculars had the outside surface of the binoculars crack and completely deteriorate. It was several years before I found the guarantee for them, a CELESTRON LIFE TIME WARRANTY!I sent them to Celestron asking for a comparable pair of binoculars. They no longer manufacture the 7X56’s. They sent me the Granite 10X50 binoculars and I was stunned. They cost almost three times what the original binoculars had cost and are literally light years ahead of the old binoculars. I have never seen a binocular that can touch them. Sharp as a tack from side to side and a brilliant field of view.So keep in mind that you get a LIFE TIME GRARANTEE when you buy the Celestron brand.

Celestron 8×42 Granites I first saw the Granite binoculars at the British BirdFair. I was very impressed and when I returned to the States I acquired a pair. I am an active birder and I love the Granites. They are not a true compact binocular but they are relatively small and light weight. The image is bright and clear all the way to the edge of the lenses. They have a wide field of view, over 400 ft, and a close focus distance of 6.5 feet – good for birders. Image quality and brightness very comparable to much more expensive brands, at least to my eyes.
