Nikon A30 I compared these to the Nikon 10×42 binocs side by side for quite awhile before deciding, and found the clarity and light transfer to be darn near the same. I chose these. At less than half the weight, and significantly cheaper. These are great “upper-end of the low cost” binoculars.VASTLY better than the similarly sized simmons and bushnell variety’s Ihave tried, that only last a year of average hunting use before they start “seeing double”, or an eyepiece falls off.So far they have proven excellent for hunting. Good light transfer, sharpness, and light weight, and no fogging. For sub-$70 binocs, these are hard to beat.

Very happy with purchase! Great low cost binoculars!! I needed a small pair of binoculars to take traveling. I have a pair of Nikon Prostaff 10×42, which I love, so I really wanted to stick with the Nikon brand. Very glad that I did. I went to a local store to check out the nikon, bushnell, and a few other small, cheap binos…..it was evident that the Nikons were the ones to go with. Great price, awesome clarity, very comfortable carrying all day…they stay out of the way until youre ready for them. Def worth the buy!

Excellent Optics and Value For the $$, the compact Nikon 8263 Aculon A30 10×25’s are Excellent in Features, Performance and Build Quality. The A30 is very close to my $500 BX-3’s (a top-tier optical performer), only lacking to the BX-3 in weather proofing and super 3-D Depth-of-field. The A30’s sharp, crystal clear and detailed images even bested some nice Steiner compacts ($175) and totally blew away Bushnell Powerviews! The A30’s FOV is not as wide as I’d like, but I just kept coming back to their amazing image sharpness, optical clarity, fine precision focus adjustment and accurate color renditions…All being a definite WOW factor! The views at the recent Sanger Theater live “Dirty Dancing” performance (from nose bleed section) were stunning…Spouse Really Loves her Compact A30 anniversary gift! I ended up purchasing 3 more Aculon A30’s as Christmas gifts for the boys (of course, one for myself)!!
