Dr. Terrence McGarty says:

Reasonably Good and Inexpensive These are inexpensive binoculars which can be left in your car or wherever you would like to have a reasonable bu lower power set of binoculars. The lenses appears to be reasonable with little aberration and are clear. It is a 22 mm FOV with 8X strength. The neck strap is very light weight. I use it to be thrown in the back seat of the car to see something at a distance. It is a light weight carry around pair, not really made for more serious users. It seems sturdy enough so far.I also have the Pentax UP 8-16×21 which is a much better performer but almost 4X the price of this one.If you want to have something that does a reasonable job at a very modest price which also has reasonable quality this is the one for you. It would be a great gift for a young child as well.

Buckybuck says:

Very happy with these Very happy with these. What I’ve never seen mentioned is how closely these binoculars will focus; you can focus as close as 6-8 feet away. So they’re great for watching butterflies and other insects on nearby flowers. They’re also very lightweight.
