Steiner Never Disappoints Awesome quality product from Steiner. First time I used one of their products was when I was serving in the US Army and used Steiners. Crystal clear optics and the individually focused lenses are great for people who wear glasses and can use them without wear their glasses without the annoying feeling of the lenses touching the eye caps.

Excellent, especially at night. I didn’t buy these at Amazon. These binoculars are great, especially at night. When you think it’s too dark to see 300 feet, slap these on and it feels like night vision goggles, in COLOR!!! I guess the optics are really good. It also has independent focusing for each lens. But for $400, they are quite expensive. The housing feels like rubber. There are water resistant caps for the outer lens and not for the smaller lens piece that you put your eyes to.

Made in Germany still means something. I was specifically looking for autofocus binoculars – beyond 60ft you can continue to track any moving object without ever losing focus or having to focus.I absolutely love these Police Binoculars from Steiner. For a little bit more money than the ones made in China these Steiner Binoculars are made in Germany. The optics are amazingly bright, clear and sharp. These do allow you to perceive depth of objects – which object is in front of another – very clearly. These are quite heavy at 36 ounces or 2 pounds but as you go higher in lens size so does the weight. Plus these have a rubberized armor body.I am glad I bought these on sale. These are the 646 Police model which is not on Steiner’s current lineup and is probably a close out.
