My favorite feeder… I’ve purchased several different types of feeders over the past few years. I plan on replacing all of them with this model of feeder for the following reasons: First and foremost, it’s very easy to clean, and clean throughly! Three simple parts, easy to dismantle and put back together. The mouth is large making it a snap to fill… no funnel needed. There are 10 feeding ports and a perch that goes all the way around. At dusk, I’ve seen 4 hummers on this feeder at the same time. I find they will say longer if they can perch and feed rather than hover and feed as with other feeders with no perch… although that is fun to watch as well. But for ease of cleaning (my #1 priority) and filling, this feeder is BY FAR the best I’ve found… and cheap. (Just don’t put it in the dishwasher…)

The Best Feeder…period! this feeder is the bomb!… i’ve used all types through the years. when most feeders get little bacterial colonies growing, they’re a hassle to clean—–this one is way easier—a small brush fits in the nectar container without a problem. …take it from someone who goes through 5 lbs of sugar a week feeding hummers….this is the only feeder i’d ever buy.

Just My Opinion says:

Best feeder for the money (by far)

Customer Video Review Length:: 0:37 MinsFor twice the price (of $8-something), this feeder would STILL be a good buy. Easy to fill, easy to clean .. and the hummers love it. I have a similarly-designed feeder with a glass bottle (this one is plastic) that holds a lot less nectar and is much more cumbersome to deal with. I’m thinking about buying another one of these feeders to replace one of the saucer-type feeders. I’d recommend this one hands-down to anyone (esp. to those just starting out).
